Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology was established in 1971 aiming to develop radiology in the region and enhance the networking of doctors and researchers.

　It is the society of representing 24 national societies within the Asian and Oceanian region with 12,000 individual members. Its main activities include hosting AOCR Congresses and comprehensive and various education programs.

　Through its active efforts, AOSR is contributing to the scientific development and mutual understand among the doctors and related scholars all around the world far beyond the Asian Oceanian region.
